Havre, MT – The MSU-Northern Lights and Skylights swept the University of Providence Argos Tuesday night. Skylights won 84-73 and the Lights dominated for a 104-78 win.
In the Skylights win they had five players reach double digit scoring and as a team shot 15 of 30 from behind the three-point line. Lauren Gunn led the Skylights on the scoreboard with 16 points and both Ciera Agasiva and Taya Trottier put up 14 points.
The Lights also had five players reach double figures in their win over the Argos. Austin Romos led all scorers with 23 points and Luke Holecek put in 20 points off the bench for the coach Shawn Huse. Reafe McEnroe put in 17 points off the bench.
The most impactful performance for the Lights was Clayson Delp who was two assists shy of a triple double with 10 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists.
Next up the Lights and Skylights will be on the road at Dickinson State and Bismarck State for their last out of state conference road trip of the season on January 30 and 31.
