Havre, MT – Saturday in a hard 49-7 loss against Montana Tech, the Northern Lights Offense showed a bright spot at Wide receiver.
Deven Shelton, the Senior wide out form Frenchtown Montana made his presence felt with 101 yards on only 9 receptions. This is the most yards Shelton has tallied in the season and in his career.
Head coach Jerome Souers had this to say about Devin’s performance.
” Devin is an emerging talent, and is a big receiver, he can make plays for us. He got left alone and our coaches did a good job by identifying that opening.”
Shelton will travel to Mayville state in hopes to emerge virtuous. Kickoff will be at 11a.m. and you can listen on KPQX.
