The MSU-Northern Lights defeated the Montana Western Bulldogs (70-58) Thursday Night in the Armory Gym.
The Lights committed four personal fouls within the first two minutes of the ball game, including a technical foul called on Head Coach Shawn Hughes. MSU-Northern trailed (11-0) before going on a (25-5) run and ending the first half with a (39-29) lead. In the second half the Lights never looked back, holding onto their double-digit lead to get the win.
CJ Nelson (17pts) and Zackry Martinez (10pts; 4ast) were the top scorers for MSU-Northern, with eight other Lights getting on the scoreboard. The Lights improve to (15-7) on the year with a two-game win streak.
