Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern and Lights basketball head coach Shawn Huse recently announced the signing of Dawson Community (DCC) College transfer Delray Lilley.
Lilley is a 6’1″ native from Wolf Point Montana. At Dawson, Delray shot just under 40 percent from behind the three-point line in 16 minutes per game and scored 5.4 points per game.
Coach Huse said Delray’s talent and character are a perfect fit to the team. “He is a team first guy through and through. He’s one of those guys you don’t necessarily see in the stats, but he fits with our team right now. Very active player. Vary smart player, great student, great person overall and just really fits well with our group.”
Last season Dawson CC won 24 games and secured the junior college region 13 championship. Lilley will look to help the Lights improve on last year’s 18-win season.
