Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern football suffered a hard loss in Dillion on Saturday to the fifth ranked team in the country in Montana Western.
Northern fell 52-0 on Saturday afternoon to the Bulldogs in dillion. Northern struggled to pass and rush the ball throughout the game.
Northern QB Ashton Platt left the game with an injury. Platts back up, Kendall O’Neill took his place, but the Lights offense still struggled. O’Neill completed two passes five yards and rushed for 26 yards on one carry.
Roman Bradly ran for 43 yards in the light’s offense on 10 carries, for 4.3 yards per carry.
Tim Arnold had one reception for 24 yards to lead the team.
Dickinson State is next up for Lights football at home this Friday at 12p.m. Dickinson comes into this weekend’s match up as the number 13 team in country from the NAIA preseason media poll.
