The-MSU Northern Lights Basketball team lost at home in the armory gym to Montana Western (65-73) Saturday evening. After going into halftime with a (33-32) lead, the Lights were outscored by nine (41-32) in the second half. After winning four in a row, the Lights are now on a two-game losing streak.
Zackry Martinez (18 pts; 4stls) and Jesse Keltner (13pts; 3blks) were the only Lights to hit double digits scoring in the game. As a team MSU-Northern shot 43% FG, 29% 3PT, & 89% FT.
With two conference losses in a row at home, the Lights will try to find their winning ways back on the road against Montana Tech, Thursday January 12th.
