(NMB) A project in Lodgepole received $15,000 in grant funding through the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Community Challenge grant program.
State Director of AARP Tim Summers, discussed the funding for the Wasay Wapka Wachi.
“Lodgepole received a fifteen thousand dollar grant to develop a walking path around their po wow site, and the project includes benches, signage, that will make the area more comfortable and accessible, particularly for the elders.”
This is part of a total nearly $180,000 grant funding for 14 Montana groups and organizations.
