HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A man awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to three felonies related to a burglary ring is back in the Hill County Detention Center after allegedly being involved in a vehicle pursuit.
Jaylen Jake Crazyboy was arrested on Saturday in Havre on pending charges of felony criminal endangerment, driving under the influence, habitual offender, revoked license, and eluding a Peace Officer.
More information on the arrest is expected to be provided on Monday from the Havre Police Department.
Back in May, Crazyboy pleaded guilty to the felonies of theft, theft by common scheme and engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise.
In the plea agreement, which is not final until sentencing, Crazyboy admitted to distributing methamphetamine in February 2019 as “part of a continuing series of two or more criminal violations,” and that he, “committed these violations in concert with at least five other persons, with respect to whom I was in the position of organizer, and from which I gained substantial income or resources.”
The case is related to a string of burglaries and thefts in the Havre area that occurred in 2019. This includes the burglaries at E-1 towing and John Deere.
Crazyboy also admitted to stealing property worth over $5,000 on September 18, 2019, and property worth over $1,500 on September 24 and October 9, 2019.
Crazyboy posted bail and was released form the Hill County Detention Center prior to the change of plea hearing in May.
