(NMB) A 35 year old Fort Belknap man, Jared Charles Gibson was in the Hill County Detention Center Friday morning, accused of stabbing another man. A felony charge may be pending. The incident allegedly happened Thursday afternoon after a caller on 16th Avenue reported a man passed out in the yard. But the man, Jared Charles Gibson became combative after being awakened and stabbed the victim, a man, in the arm. Gibson left the scene and was found later about a block away from the incident and arrested on a charge of Assault with a weapon. The victim was transported to the hospital and released. According to Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich, Gibson was being held without bond as of Friday morning.
