Man Sentenced for Drugs and Illegal Firearms

(Billings) – A twenty-five-year-old Billings man will spend fourteen years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine and illegally possessing firearms.

Federal prosecutors say Jacob Bradley Long was smuggling meth from Colorado to sell in Billings. According to court documents, law enforcement seized multiple guns from Long’s home. Later, during a high-speed pursuit in Big Horn County, Long threw three pounds of meth from his vehicle before officers stopped him using spike strips.

Following his fourteen-year prison term, Long will face five years of supervised release.
