(Billings) – A Minnesota man will spend the next 40 years in prison for sexually abusing two children on the Crow Indian Reservation. A federal judge sentenced 35-year-old Robert Dean Dust last week, following his conviction earlier this year.
Prosecutors proved Dust repeatedly abused two young girls in Lodge Grass over a five-year period starting around 2010. The victims, who were just four and five years old when the abuse began, reported the crimes to law enforcement in 2024.
Following his prison term, Dust will face 20 years of supervised release.
