(Helena,) — The Montana 250th Commission is pleased to announce the recipients of its Event Sponsorship Program, awarding $100,000 to 40 organizations across Montana to support community celebrations recognizing America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
The sponsorships will fund events, activities, and programs that honor the Semiquincentennial while engaging communities throughout the state.Combined with the previously announced Montana 250 Grant Program, the Commission has now distributed a total of $520,000 to 73 organizations statewide, ensuring Montanans from all corners of the state can meaningfully celebrate the nation’s historic milestone.
Event Sponsorship awardees in our area include: The Blaine County Fair, The Town of Denton, The Fergus County Fairgrounds, and The Judith Mountain Players from Lewistown.
