(Billings) – The Girls Scouts of Montana and Wyoming announced that six girl scouts from the council have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award.
The girls spent a minimum of 80 hours a day over the course of two years working on various projects that had them identify a problem plan and implement a solution to the problem and lead a team of people to tackle the problem. The girls invested over 520 hours into tackling prominent issues such as suicide, mental health care, lack of community resources and domestic violence.
