Montana Department of Agriculture Announces Mini-Grants for Ag Companies

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) announced Monday, March 30 that the Growth Through Agriculture Program will now offer mini-grant funding.

These mini-grants will provide food and agriculture companies a path to expand and strengthen their infrastructure and distribution capabilities.

MDA Director Ben Thomas said, “We’re excited to revive our mini-grant program, and now, more than ever we need to invest in our food and ag companies.”

Those who qualify will be able to receive up to $5,000 for a single application and $2,500 for any marketing, education, promotion or travel projects.

All eligible applicants must be working to boost agricultural development, employment and economic movement in Montana.
