Montana Kinship Navigator Program to Meet on Tuesday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Formally known as Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, the Montana Kinship Navigator Program invites all Kinship Caregivers to the Havre Support Group. The MSU-Extension Office says the group meets every third Tuesday of the month at the Havre-Hill County Library at 6 PM.

The next support group meeting will be on Tuesday, November 19th and the guest speaker will be Bryon Gustafson, Child Bridge Regional Director. The mission of Child Bridge is to find and equip foster and adoptive families for Montana children who have been victims of abuse or neglect. This free presentation is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Being a Kinship Caregiver means you are raising a child or children that are related to you, like a grandchild, nephew, or niece. For more information, contact Extension Agent Jasmine Carbajal at 400-2335.
