(Helena) – The Montana Office of Public Instruction recently announced they are allocating one point five million dollars in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to offer $500 grants in reading and math to all K-12 public school teachers in Montana.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Elsie Arntzen said “Dollars closest to classroom lead to greater academic achievement for our students.” Arntzen continues “These precious federal tax dollars will help purchase teaching and learning materials, supplies, and technology to support math and reading.”
