HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,833 new COVID-19 cases across the state in their Monday morning update, the first update to the dashboard since Friday morning.
Six COVID-19 related deaths were newly reported, bringing the death toll to 3,037. Yellowstone County reported two new deaths, while Chouteau, Missoula, Ravalli and Sheridan reported one each.
The active hospitalization count dropped by 18 to 310, while the active case count dropped from over 15,000 to just over 10,250.
Six Counties reported over 100 new cases of the virus in the latest update, led by Yellowstone with 263, Missoula with 227, and Lewis and Clark with 226.
