Montana Reports Over 2,000 COVID Cases Wednesday

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – 2,051 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the state in the Department of Public Health and Human Services dashboard update Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, the number of Montanans who have suffered COVID-related deaths increased by six to 2,964, with one death each in Glacier and Phillips Counties and two in Cascade.

Six counties reported at least 100 new COVID cases, led by Gallatin with 306, Missoula with 259, and Yellowstone with 233, as health departments struggle to keep up with contact tracing and are working through backlogs.
