(Montana) Montana unemployment rates are still lower than the national average by almost a full point according to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The new report for the month of May shows that rates of unemployment were stable in Montana with jobless rates “not notably different from those of a month earlier”, according to the BLS.
The national unemployment figure currently stands at 4%, with Montana’s jobless percentage at a 3.1%, this is still up a half of a percentage from a year ago; the May 2023 Montana unemployment statistic was 2.6%
