Havre, MT. – The 2025 Montana State University-Northern Athletics Hall of Fame inductees were announced on Friday.
MSU-N HOF will see four new members come late August. Jacy (Thompson) Overstreet, Zach McKinly, Daniel Murphy, And Chris Mouat will all be inducted on Friday, August 29 at the MSU-Northern SUB Ballroom.
Jacy Overstreet is a native of Townsend Montana and in her time as Skylight from 2014-2018 Overstreet collected 1,183 career points to sit at 10th in the programs all time scoring list. In the 2015-2016 season Overstreet was an Honorable Mention All-American, Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First team All-conference.
Zach McKinley was apart of Lights football from 2012-2017 and became the all time leading rusher in program history, and secured three All-Conference selections.
Daniel Murphy finished his career as one of the top scorers in Lights Men’s basketball history after putting up 1,750 points between 1985 and 1989.
Chris Mouat was given the Skylights Women’s basketball head coaching job in 2005. In his 20 years at MSU-N, Mouat has become the winningest coach in program history. Mouat led the program to five NAIA National Tournament appearances reaching the sweet 16 four times and the elite 8 once.
The 2025 induction ceremony will take place Friday August 29th at the MSU-Northern SUB Ballroom. The ceremony will start at 7P.M. and the doors open at 6P.M.
