(Havre) Montana State University Northern Celebrates it’s 95th birthday this year, according to campus officials.
The University was first founded September 24th, 1929, with a total attendance of 80 students. At the time, it was still simply called “Northern Montana College”.
Since then, the college integrated into the Montana State University system, and became MSU Northern officially in 1994.
MSU Northern says they are preparing for their centennial celebration in 2029.
