Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern Lights and Skylight Rodeo teams concluded their season back in early May, now Northern rodeo has shifted focus to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) this weekend in Casper Wyoming.
MSU-Northern rodeo head coach Doug Kellenberger told New Media Broadcaster Sports who qualified for nationals.
“We had six qualify for College National Finals Rodeo. Georgia Orahood, Kenda Statham and Brooklin Baukol all qualified in the breakaway roping. Cayda Dodginghorse is the regional champion and qualified in the barrel racing. Chance Threeirons and Tallan Cummins are the regional champions and qualified in the team roping.”
The CNFR kicks off this Friday June 12 and will run into the following weekend.
