The 2024 College National Finals Rodeo concluded on Saturday night in Casper, WY with the championship short round. After gutting out a chance to be in the field, MSU-Northern Lights saddle bronc rider Garrett Cunningham got to show what he was made of on the grandest of stages to see if he could become a champion of the sport.
Cunningham rode to a score of 71.5, which was just short of winning it all. He did finish his junior season as a top-10 saddle bronc rider in the nation.
Congratulations to Cunningham, Mikenna Schauer, Georgia Orahood, and Kenda Statham for their performances at this year’s CNFR and to the entire MSU-N rodeo teams on a season well done in 2023-24.
