The MSU-Northern Skylights & Lights hosted Montana Tech Saturday in the Amory Gym.
The Skylights led (31-28) at halftime before getting outscored (27-9) in the 3rd quarter. The Skylights ended the game losing (75-63) to extend their losing streak to eight in a row. Savannah Toms lead the way with 20 points for the Skylights. Ryley Kehr (10pts), Shyan Krass (11pts), and Briaunna McCullough (10pts) also scored double digits in the loss. The Skylights fall to 7-16 on the season.
In game two, the Lights earned a (67-60) victory at home over Montana Tech. The Lights were up by six at halftime (35-29) and held onto the lead most of the second half to get the win. Jesse Keltner (17pts;6reb), Immanuel Anderson (12pts), and Zackry Martinez (10pts;2stls) were the top performers for the Lights. Coach Huse and MSU-Northern extend their win streak to three games in a row improving their record to 16-7.
MSU-Northern basketball is back in action Thursday February 2nd, when they host Carroll College.
