Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern Lights and Skylights rodeo teams concluded their season last week with six athletes competing at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR).
Doug Kellenberger, who just finished his 14th season at the helm, thought his teams performance at the CNFR was a great experience for everyone including the seniors.
“As a whole it was a great first experience. We had a few seniors that we lost Georgia Orahood is done now and Kenda Stathem has moved on, and they didn’t quite have the finals they wanted but had an overall a good experience. Brooklin Baukol was sitting within the top four of the nation on two and the third one didn’t go well but she got us some points on the second round, and it was a good experience all the way around.”
Georgia Orahood, Brooklin Baukol, and Kenda Statham are the only seniors the Skylights lost.
