In MSU-Northern Rodeo news the 2022-23 NIRA Big Sky Region Champions were crowned over the weekend in Missoula.
MSU-Northern’s Women’s Rodeo Team finished 2nd in the year end team standings, sending them to the College National Finals Rodeo. The MSU-Northern Lights Men’s team finished 3rd in team standings.
Garrett Cunningham won his second Big Sky Region Championship in Saddle Bronc Riding.
Brittney Cox qualified for the CNFR with a Barrel Racer Championship.
Ethan Frasier won reserve champion for Bareback Riding, qualifying him for the CNFR.
And Cameron Falcon finished 3rd & 4th in Bull Riding, earning a CNFR Bid
