The Montana’s Broadcasters Association is hosting their annual “E.B. Craney Awards” this weekend in memory of broadcast pioneer Ed Craney. The EBs recognize excellence in local news, production, promotion, and public service.
New Media Broadcasters very own Tony Vigliotti is a finalist for this year’s E.B. Craney Award with his submission of the annual MSU-Northern Hall of Fame Inductees from the class of 2022 and also his submission of New Media Broadcaster’s annual “Bright Shining Lights” fall and winter sports show. Here is Mr. Vigliotti on his thoughts on being selected as a finalist in the award ceremony:
“It’s an honor to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. I don’t do this for the recognition but it’s nice being noticed for the work that you do.” – Vigliotti
Tony Vigliotti has always been very integrated in the Montana sports world, coaching softball, broadcasting sporting events, and refereeing. Coach Vigliotti was asked what it means to be recognized in a world that he has given so much to:
“It’s nice being recognized as I said. I coach because I love to coach, I referee because I love to referee, and I love broadcasting. It was never about the recognition but again it’s nice to be honored in something you put work into.” – Vigliotti
Congratulations to Mr. Vigliotti on his outstanding achievement.
