North Central Montana Law Enforcement Agencies Complete Interdiction

(Lewiston) – The Fergus County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook post on Tuesday that many North Central Montana based law enforcement agencies completed a coordinated and strategic interdiction mission on Monday January 26th.

The goal of the mission was to saturate each agencies respective jurisdiction’s high crime areas to disrupt and stop criminal activity. The mission resulted in 62 traffic stops, 2 arrests, 19 citations, 3 K-9 deployments, seized illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

The agencies involved in this mission were Phillips County Sheriff’s Office, Fergus County Sheriff’s Office, Judith Basin County Sheriff’s Office, Wheatland County Sheriff’s Office, Golden Valley County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Belknap Police Department, United States Border Patrol, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Montana Highway Patrol, Central Montana Dispatch, Fort Belknap Dispatch, and Phillips County Dispatch.
