Havre, Mt – Lights football exits their bye with number 7 Montana Tech at Tilleman field.
Northern is coming off of their only win two weeks ago over Eastern Oregon 23-7, the only unranked opponent Northern has played through the first six weeks.
The Orediggers are a perfect 6-0 and 1-0 in Frontier Conference east division play.
Lights head coach Jerome Souers told New Media Broadcasters that even after a bye week, his team has to be focused and execute in all three phases.
“We need to throw all the rankings and stats, we gotta throw everything out the window. The only thing we can think about is how well we can play the game, in all three phases of what we do.” Souers said.
“Our offense has got to move the football. We got to keep our defense rested, and we have to be able to establish better field position and then capitalize when we get down to the red zone.”
Coach Souers continued to state how good of a program Montana Tech is on both sides of the ball.
