The Havre Northstars fell to the AA Great Falls Chargers on Wednesday in the Electric City in a thriller, 14-13.
The Northstars led 13-10 after eight innings, but the Chargers came roaring back to put up four in the bottom of the ninth, with the game ending on a walk-off walk.
Kale Reno was the starting pitcher for Havre and went five innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out five.
Four players had multiple hits for Havre, led by Eli Cloninger’s four hits in five at bats.
Havre is now 6-7 on the season.
Next up is an exhibition with the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League this Saturday at 3 PM at Legion Field in Havre.
The next regular season game for Havre is a nine-inning rematch against the Chargers on Wednesday, May 25th at Legion Field. First pitch is set for 7 PM.
