Havre, MT – Havre Northstar baseball has once again picked up momentum heading into the weekend coming off of three straight blow outs. 12-2 over Lewistown on Sunday and back-to-back 10-0 victories over Great Falls Wednesday night.
The Northstars will carry that momentum into Lethbridge Saturday and Sunday looking to advance in the conference standings.
“I would say that our mistakes in the field are fixable and they will fix them going into this long streak of conference play. And they just need to be confident in what they’re doing.” Coach Mader told New Media Sports regarding the team’s recent success and the keys to securing a couple wins this weekend.
Game one of Saturday’s double header has first pitch scheduled for 1p.m. against the Lethbridge Miners. Then Sunday June 28, Havre will battle the Lethbridge Lakers with first pitch scheduled for noon. The Northstars currently sit at 14-13-1 on the season.
