Havre, MT – As they approach the end of the regular season the NorthStar’s are set to play Fort Mcleod on the road.
Wednesday night at American Legion Field the Northstars swept the Lewistown Redbirds on senior night (4-2, 12-1). Now on the road, with the number one seed in the tournament all but locked up, Havre looks to end the season strong.
Head coach Ryan Divish says they have to execute and play smart, “Well the place is called west wind stadium, and almost always has 20mph winds.” Divish said. ” playing in the wind it will be dry, and you know those kind of factors can really get into peoples heads. I think our guys are pretty disciplined and they know what they have to do.”
The Northstars are first in the North District standings at 24-4. The last games of the season are double headers on Saturday at Medicine Hat, first pitch is 3p.m. and Sunday in Fort Mcloed, first pitch is at 12p.m.
