Northstars Sweep Chargers

(NMB) The Havre Northstars American Legion Baseball team swept a double header from the Great Falls Chargers on Wednesday evening by scores of 10 to 1 and 13 to 0. In game one Havre scored 3 runs in the second inning and 4 runs in the fourth inning. Lane Kinsella picked up the win on the mound going 4 innings. He allowed no runs, had three strikeouts and no walks. The Northstars collected 9 hits. Trenton Maloughney and Brody Nanini  had two hits each. In game two the Northstars scored 8 runs in the first inning. Terek Shipp picked up the win on the mound. Havre had 8 hits offensively, Theron Peterson and Conner Mckay had two hits each. The Northstars will be on the road this weekend for the Gallatin Valley Tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
