Northwestern Energy Donates $300,000 for COVID-19 Assistance

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Northwestern Energy donated $300,000 Wednesday, April 1 to assist communities that are struggling with COVID-19.

Northwestern Energy CEO Rob Rowe said, “We activated our incident response structure in early March, and have been able to continue to provide safe, reliable service to our customers, including health care providers and first responders.”

The aid is available now and is set to provide customers with assistance for residential energy bills and with small business energy bills as well.

Rowe said, “In addition, Northwestern Energy will match donations our employees make to organizations that provide emergency assistance for members of our communities experiencing difficulty paying their residential energy bill.”
