SUPERIOR, Mont. (NMB) – The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed through dental records that the body recovered from the Clark Fork River on May 17th is that of 34-year-old Rebekah Barsotti, a woman who was last seen on July 20th, 2021 in Superior.
When Barsotti was reported missing, an extensive air, water and ground search began involving resources from four counties. Her vehicle and some personal items were located at mile marker 71 on I-90 near Alberton. Over 2,000 hours were dedicated to the search.
Several days after Barsotti was reported missing, her dog was found dead along the Clark Fork River.
The circumstances regarding Barsotti’s death remain under investigation.
