HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Over 500 people participated in the Bullhook Community Health Center’s sentinel COVID-19 testing event on Wednesday in Havre.

Bullhook CEO Kyndra Hall says 536 tests were performed on asymptomatic individuals, with results expected back within the next week.

“The state is saying 5 to 7 days. They are working to try to lessen that number of days, but hopefully at least within that week time period.”

The line of vehicles waiting for testing stretched about half a mile at times, and Hall says she appreciates everyone’s patience.

“I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that was so patient and came out and kept up their good spirits. We really appreciate that. We will get dates and times out when we do have our next open testing event and make sure that gets advertised and put out to the public.”

Hall says people should expect an announcement on the next mass testing event in the coming days.
