BILLINGS, Mont. (NMB) – The Billings Police Department says that two suspects of interest have been identified after Northern Cheyenne Councilwoman Silver Little Eagle, 23, was injured in an attack in Billings on May 16th.
A press release says that a 25-year-old female from St. Xavier and a 27-year-old female from an unknown town are actively being sought by investigators for questioning.
The crime is not believed to have been a random act and no arrests or charges have been filed at this time. Billings Police say there is no indication that the crime was racially motivated or connected to human trafficking.
Billings Police were initially dispatched to a report of an assault at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 11:01 AM on May 16th. Little Eagle was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of injuries. Her vehicle was located by officers at the 1700 block of Montana Avenue
