HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With wildfire smoke continuing to blanket the Hi-Line, air quality in the region has been negatively impacted.
Since Saturday, Havre’s air quality has mostly remained in the category of ‘Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups.’
This means that sensitive groups should remain indoors as much as possible, while others should try and limit vigorous activity. If outdoors, sensitive groups should keep activities light and avoid activities over two hours long.
Sensitive groups include children, people with chronic conditions, pregnant women, and older adults.
To maintain good air quality indoors, it is recommended that people keep windows and doors closed, set air conditioning to recirculate, and stay away from performing activities that add to indoor pollution.
