(Poplar) – A vehicle crashed on July 9th near the town of Poplar in Roosevelt County on Poplar River Trail.
Montana Highway Patrol Officer Evans reported that the vehicle, a Ford F150, was heading norhtbound on a two track dirt road towards Poplar River Road when the vehicle crashed. The suspected cause of the crash was that the driver was speeding.
Passenger 1 who was standing up in the bed of the truck was launched from the vehicle upon crashing. They were rushed to the Northeast Montana Health Services in wolf point where they died from their injuries. The other passengers and the driver were unharmed.
