(Washington DC) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced over the weekend that Bob Evans Farms Foods is recalling approximately 7,560 pounds of Italian Pork Sausage products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically thin blue rubber.
The raw, Italian pork sausage items were produced on September 8th, 2022. The following products are subject to recall. One pound chubs containing “Bob Evans Italian Sausage” with lot code XEN3663466 and a “Use/Freeze By” date of 11/26/22, with a time stamp between 14:43 and 15:25.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 6785 inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. If you have one of the products in your home the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service asks that you, please dispose of them.
