(Chinook) The Presbyterian Church of Chinook is looking to offer two scholarships this spring, one to a Chinook High School Graduate and the other to what they’re calling a “non-traditional student”.
The PCC defines a non-traditional student as someone who did not start a post-secondary education directly after earning their high school diploma or GED. Instead, preference for this scholarship will be given to those who may have had financial barriers or family demands prevent them from seeking an education earlier.
This grant will be in the amount of $500 dollars, distributed once per year. A successful applicant will show how this grant will help them reach their educational goals and how that education will benefit the Hi-Line.
