(Chinook) The Pool and Park foundation of Chinook will be hosting their New Years Gala fundraising event at the end of this year. New Media Broadcasters spoke with Heather DePriest, President of the Pool and Park Foundation, to get more info on the mission of Pool and Park.
“Yeah so we are a non-proft organization here in Chinook, and essentially what we’re trying to accomplish is rehabilitation of Chinook’s pool and their park. So, we’ve been going since 2020 and we’re fundraising for that entire project.”, She said. “Phase A of the project is to rehabilitate the pool, it’s in desperate need of some rehabilitation. So, we’re doing as many fundraisers as we can to help with the cost of that. So we’re doing a new years eve gala and that’s going to be a great time”
