(NMB) The Montana Stockgrowers Association will be holding their mid-year meeting in Havre Tuesday through Thursday This week on the campus of MSU Northern. As part of the event, the public is invited to attend the Stockgrowers Sunset social and Banquet on Wednesday evening in the 4-H Chuckwagon at the Great Northern Fairgrounds. North Central Director of The MSGA and Big Sandy Rancher Rich Roth says The event supports the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation.
“Opportunity for people to come and support the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation which is a 501-3C and basically what that was set up to do was help with ag education. So, whether it’s sending our kids to different camps, there’s the M-Bar academy, there’s just a multitude of different ways that the foundation can help support a growing ag economy.“-Roth
The evening begins at 5:30pm with a social and will include a Prime Rib dinner hosted by the Mint Bar and cafe and will feature live and silent auction items, live music and the Montana Enviromental Stewardship award will be announced.
