Red Cross Looking for Donors as Holiday Season Nears Conclusion

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – During the season of giving, the American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give the gift of life to help ensure patients don’t have to worry about the availability of blood this winter.

Blood and platelet donations of all types are needed, especially type O.

On Monday, Dec. 30, donations will be accepted in Big Sandy at Jerry Martin Memorial Hall from 12:45 to 7 PM.

On Thursday, Jan. 2, donations will be accepted at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chester from noon to 6 PM.

On Monday, Jan. 6, you can donate at St. Jude Parish Center in Havre from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

On Tuesday, Jan. 7, donations will be accepted at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre from 10 AM to 3:30 PM and at Wallner Hall in Chinook from 12:30 PM to 6 PM.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, donations will be accepted in Harlem at Harlem High School from 1 to 6 PM.

On Thursday, Jan. 9, you can donate in Havre at Bullhook Community Health Center from 9 AM to 2 PM and at Triangle Communications from 9 AM to 3 PM.

As a special thank you, donors who give blood or platelets now through Jan. 5 will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
