Roadway Fatalites Up from Seasonal Norm

(Montana) The Montana Highway Patrol reported that on the 7th and 8th of January respectively, two individuals, both aged 60, were involved in separate, single vehicle incidents that both resulted in the drivers deaths.

The MHP says that in the last month alone, Montana’s road ways have seen 30 roadway fatalities; that’s a 7% increase from what they typically see this time of year.

In Facebook post, both the MHP and the Montana Department of Justice urged drivers to take a slower and safer approach to driving while the hi-line experiences it’s lowest temperatures so far for this winter season.
