On Wednesday The Rocky Boy School board held a scheduled special virtual board meeting. According to a press release from Superintendent Voyd St. Pierre’s office the one agenda item to be discussed was the reopening of schools. There were three options, which were Full Reopening, Partial Reopening/Hybrid Model, and Maintain the Remote Model.
Before any formal actions were considered the board did allow for comments and discussion pertaining to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the community.
The recommendation was made to move to Option two Partial Reopening/Hybrid Model, which passed by a vote of 3-2.
The updated plan will be reviewed by the board on Tuesday, January 19th at their regular scheduled monthly meeting.
