(Rudyard) Rudyard and the Depot Museum had their second annual Fossil Fest on June 22nd, a continued event from last year and one that Lila Redding, Volunteer with the Depot Museum, says will continue to happen.
“The museum in Rudyard brings a lot of people to town. Dinosaurs right now are really interesting and popular. We bring a minimum of a thousand people just to see the dinosaurs in the summer months, so if we just keep adding on, we hope to bring [more]. It brings people to town, it helps our businesses, it just promotes Rudyard”
The festival included street vendors, two movie showings from the Hi-Line theatre, as well as all parts of the Depot Museum being open all day to the public.
