(Havre) – On July 18th the Havre Public School District Board of Trustees voted to allow 8th grade students participate in high school sports.
8th grade students would be allowed to tryout and participate in all high school sports excluding football. A student allowed to play with a high school team must be approved by both the coach and the athletics director.
The item was approved 6 to 1 with Kevin Johnson forwarding the motion to adopt the change while Tyler Gibson seconded it.
