Havre, MT – MSU-Northern Skylights basketball is 0-1 to open up the season after falling at home to the Texas A&M San Antonio Jaguars (82-80).
The Skylights will travel to Great Fall as they are looking to bounce back on Friday against another opponent from Texas in Waylon Babtist University.
Northern head coach Chris Mouat says his teams has to be well prepared for a team like Waylon.
“Waylon Babtist is a perennial top25 team. They’ve got a good program a lot of history a lot of tradition. Honestly, we wouldn’t want to let it be a track meet where we’re playing up and down with them. We have to handle their pressure. We have to get some easy looks inside; I don’t know that we are doing enough of that right now. But I like what we’re doing.” Mouat said.
Tip off against the Pioneers of Waylon Baptist from Great Falls is at 2p.m.
