(Great Falls) – The Montana State University – Northern Skylights Basketball Team was back in Great Falls Friday night for the second game in two nights, to face Corban College and were victorious 82-56.
Like on Friday the Skylights jumped out to an eleven-point lead after one quarter of play, 28-17 and never looked back in the contest. Each quarter the Skylights widened their lead, as they led by sixteen at halftime, twenty-two after three quarters of play and earned the victory with a comfortable twenty-six-point margin. In the victory over Corban, MSU-Northern shot 56% from the field, 44% from three-point range and 85% from the free throw line.
Four players scored in double digits for the Skylights. Super Senior Riley Kehr led the way with 21points, Savannah Toms added 12, Shyan Krass contributed 11, and Taya Trottier scored 10.
The Skylights victory increased their record to 2 and 0 on the young season and the now have a couple of weeks off until they will be back in Great Falls on Friday November 17th when they face Stephens College.
